I brewed this just about 4 weeks ago. It was in the fermenter for 3 weeks and then dry hopped for an additional 10 days. It is an extract brew of course and was a 5.5 gallon batch which is the first time I’ve used my 6.5 gallon carboy. Despite the larger carboy, I still had some blow off but not as bad as usual.

It is an all Galaxy hop beer. I’m trying to make an IPA with as many single-hops as I can to learn first hand what various hops taste like and learn what I prefer before doing any complicated hop schedules with my IPAs.

It’s not carbonated to the level that I want it to be but it’s very drinkable and pretty damn tasty. As expected, it’s a very malty beer so the mouthfeel is pretty heavy.
