75CL bottle acquired in Gent Belgium. Paid around 10 Euro. Bottled November of 2011. Enjoyed in a white wine glass at 60 Degrees F.A – No cork pop on this one. Slight carbonation on the pour producing a single finger head of off white colors but faded quickly. Bright and slightly cloudy orange appearance.S – The scent is like many other gueuze. Also some notes of pepper spice and oak.

T – The taste is VERY unique. Less hoppy than expected but this isn’t a fresh bottle. Still, the hop bitterness is apparent and contains notes of pine, peppers and citrus. The finish is very much a gueuze but with more lemon citrus and honey than others. It’s a very bright and sweet beer throughout.

M – Light-Medium body, light and effervescent mouth feel.

O – I’m very pleased with this beer. The hops certainly make a big difference and it’s one I’ll have to drink again when I get a fresher bottle.
