750ML Bottle. Thanks Heather for sharing. This was $42.50 I think? She won in a lottery and I struck out. Thanks so much for sharing! Split 3 ways at fridge temp and allowed to warm.

A – Very beautiful pour. Golden and clark. 1 finger very big bully head that fades fast. This is a more orange yellowish color.

S – Smells fantastic. It has this aroma of the most recent batch of Ann, Art and Flora. That’s not some sort of humblebrag. It has these aromas that are so similar to the ’hyper-aged’ barrel aged Saisons from Shaun. The fact this was brewed around the same year I started going (01/2012), it’s pretty exciting. So back to aroma, honey, melon, peaches and grapes.

T – The taste is very much like a champagne. It has this powerful grape taste. A little sweet in the middle. The finish is also sweet, a ton of grape like the oak barrel just injected wine into this beer and rested and melded and integrated slowly over time. Tart throughout. Lingering lemonade and honey.

M – Dense with a crisp tingling taste. The finish is lingering sweetness and oak tannins.

O – This is a very good beer. Damn, it’s so hard to rate these special one-off Shaun beers. Flora Batch 5 is heaven. Batch 6 was really great. Art batch 2 & 3 were incredible and at the same time, a 12-24 month bottle of Florence is exquisite for the availability and price of entry. So that’s my problem. Price and rareness and this is exceptional but I wouldn’t place it above Flora. Doesn’t mean I won’t give this a fair rating.
